Our Story - Founder's Notes

Bare Isles is a conscious curation of clean beauty & wellness products, sourced globally all in one place.

The inspiration to create Bare Isles was born from my own journey in 2025 when I was diagnosed and treated for early breast cancer.

As a lover of all things beauty this led me on a path to seek cleaner beauty alternatives that didn’t compromise on performance, allowing me to continue the beauty rituals I loved.

Throughout my recovery I met and witnessed many others wishing to upgrade to cleaner products but often were overwhelmed or didn’t know where to start.

After spending 15 years of my career as a retail buyer, I was inspired to use my background to build a home of clean beauty, creating a space I wish had existed when I started to rebuild my own beauty shelf.

The Bare Isles vision is to celebrate individual beauty and rituals with products we know are better for our future.

Our philosophy is to start with one small swap and embrace progress not perfection.
